Our Story
Redemption Hill is a story of God’s sheer grace. The church launched its first Sunday service on May 2nd of 2021 in south Fort Worth, off McCart Avenue. A core team of roughly 35 adults (and 15 children) from The Paradox Church sensed the Lord leading them to partake in His divine plan to spread His glory and goodness to every nook and cranny of Fort Worth, by means of church planting. The desire to plant a new church in the city originated from a verse in the book of Habakkuk, where God says to His people:
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.”
God promises this to His people as a certainty and He always keeps His promises… The good news of Jesus’ grace for sinners and sufferers will accomplish what God has intended for it to accomplish and it will happen primarily through God’s people, the Church. Redemption Hill was planted with this promise in mind and hope for the future, that as more and more healthy churches are planted in the city, by God’s grace, more neighbors will come to rest in the hope and life that is in Jesus alone.
Wherever you are in life, whether you are a Christian or someone simply seeking answers to life’s complex questions, we would love to meet you on a Sunday.
